The Perfect 20 Acres Just South of Heaven

The Perfect 20 Acres actually does exist, and it is south of Sequim in the mountains. I did not know Heaven had an address, but it does, and everything a dreamer could want is found on this property: a parklike setting with old growth tree stumps that literally could be 600 to 1,200 years old, healthy trees of various kinds all over the 20 acres, trails for hiking or riding a horse, four ponds, one that is 35 feet deep, a cabin on a pond with water that is naturally fresh with a creek that runs in and out of the pond, lots of wildlife of all kinds, privacy of course, and it's so quiet you can't hear anything except the wind and birds. The mountain view is stunning, and you need to watch this video to see how good the view is. It's rare that you find a large parcel of land like this anywhere in the country, but here it is right in the Sequim area on the Olympic Peninsula. Wow! I cannot wait to see the retirement home my clients build on this property!

Tell me about Sequim heating and cooling systems. Okay. Let's start with a heat pump. A heat pump is a versatile, energy-efficient system that both heats and cools your home. Unlike traditional furnaces that generate heat by burning fuel or using electric resistance, a heat pump moves heat from one place to another. In the winter, it pulls heat from the outside air and transfers it inside your home. In the summer, it reverses the process, acting like an air conditioner by removing heat from inside and releasing it outside. There are several types of heat pumps, but the most common for residential use is the air-source heat pump. These systems consist of an outdoor unit and an indoor air handler and operate using refrigerant and a compressor to transfer heat.
